Laugher somehow criticizes, especially if there is a stranger around. But Laughing is not the same as smiling. Should you laugh or cry much.
Wait no more, read through this where the Prophet (PBUH) revealed what much laughter does to your heart.
In a Hadith. Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “Laugh little. Much laughter kills the heart.”
To restate again, this hadith was express in another way, and here is it.
Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “Do not
laugh a lot. Much laughter kills the heart.”
These two hadith means that much laughter does kill the heart, it should not be controversial. The hadith did not say you should not smile. If you are aware of the common notion among people, you will also know that much laughter does kill the brain apart from killing the heart.
But you should always put up a smiley face, that’s so much more welcoming than laughing all day.
In a much-explained word from the prophet, about the concept of laughing much.
Abu Hurayra said, “The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, went out to a group of his Companions who were laughing and talking. He said, ‘By the One in whose hand my soul is if you knew what I knew, you would laugh little and weep much.’ Then he left and the people were weeping.
Then Allah Almighty revealed to him, ‘Muhammad! Why did you make My slaves despair?’
The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “Give good news, guide people and draw near to one another.’
From Al-Adab al-Mufrad (page on laughter) by Imam Al-Bukhari
However, telling people not to laugh much doesn’t mean, you should make them cry, by the three Hadiths above the explanation should be clear.
And Allah knows best.
