9/11 Anniversary – In the 20th celebration of the 9/11 attacks on the Twin Tower, some war-destroyed residents in Kabul showed their anger and blamed the United States.
They express their feeling of betrayal to the US over the invasion of Afghan, which the only end in a unbelievable withdraws of the U.S. forces from the country.
The U.S. forces have occupied Afghan, with the known purpose of stopping the war in Afghan, however, U.S pulled out their forces from Afghanistan last month. Which added up to the collapse of the Afghan government and the Taliban takeover.
“The misfortunes we are currently experiencing are because of America,” Abdul Waris told Reuters. – a Kabul resident.
He said after thinking over the white flags of the Taliban with text from the Quran, which hung from nearby lampposts.
In addition to Abdul Waris comment, some Afghans blame departed US forces. Addressing the Taliban takeover as the fault of the U.S.
Which explain that the U.S. has not actually helped the Afghan citizen.
Other Afghans Blamed Departed US Forces
“After the September 11 events took place, the Americans were in our country for 20 years for their own benefit,” said Jalil Ahmad.
“They took the benefits they had in mind for 20 years while we did not get any benefit from them. They have left the country in a state of confusion.”
Most Afghans are scare of Taliban fighters who are always found around the country holding guns or slung them over their shoulders.
However, there seem to be calm and stability after the Taliban announce the new Afghan rulers and make some ruling adjustments.
A resident Gul Agha Laghmni also told Reuters “Now there is security and security is good… May God give the Taliban more strength to maintain this (calm) forever.”
“In the presence of America, there was a lot of commotion in our country. Women were unveiled,” he said.
“The majority of our youth fled, a number were martyred and a number of others were afflicted by America through war and misery.” Shah Raoof added to the blame.
